Priorities USA Action Launches $1.25 Million Digital Ad Campaign Informing Arizonans About Martha McSally’s Disastrous Health Care Plan

Washington, DC – Priorities USA Action is launching a nearly $1.25 million digital advertising campaign highlighting Martha McSally’s devastating health care plan that would raise costs and endanger coverage for her constituents, particularly those who are older or who have pre-existing conditions.

As election season heats up, Arizonans deserve to have all the facts about Martha McSally’s record. During her time in Congress, McSally vigorously supported a health care bill that would have stripped coverage from hundreds of thousands of Arizonans and instituted a devastating age tax allowing insurance companies to charge older Arizonans up to five times as much for their coverage as younger Arizonans. McSally would have allowed insurance companies to once again deny coverage for people with pre-existing conditions.

The ads will run statewide wherever voters are consuming content online, including Facebook, YouTube, Spotify, Pandora and Google, as well as news platforms such as Fox News and the New York Times. To view examples of the ads running today, click here and here.

“No issue is more important to voters heading into the fall than health care, and Martha McSally has time and time again failed to stand up for her constituents’ access to affordable and equitable coverage,” said Matt Lopez, spokesman for Priorities USA Action. “McSally would let insurers charge Arizonans more for health coverage just because of their age or because they have a pre-existing condition. Priorities USA Action is proud to launch this campaign to make sure that Arizona has a senator who will fight for affordable health care for all, not let insurance companies take the country back to a darker time.”
