Priorities USA Action and Senate Majority PAC Launch New Digital Ads on Mike Braun Getting Rich Off Outsourced Jobs to China

Ads Follow Bombshell AP Report Exposing New Instances of Mike Braun Personally Profiting from Goods “Made in China”

Washington, DC — Priorities USA Action and Senate Majority PAC are launching a new round of digital ads in the wake of an AP report revealing that Mike Braun’s personal auto parts brand, Promaxx Automotive, sells a wide range of products manufactured in China. Braun has already acknowledged that his company distributes foreign-made goods—but had denied manufacturing his own goods abroad, which we now know is a lie. These new revelations further demonstrate just how much Braun personally benefits from the foreign labor and outsourced jobs he claims to oppose.

The new ads come as part of Priorities USA Action and SMP’s previously announced $1 million campaign against Braun. Hoosiers throughout the state will continue to see the ads wherever they’re consuming content online, including Facebook and Google. To view examples of the new ads, click here and here.

“Mike Braun has been lying to Hoosiers, plain and simple,” said Josh Schwerin, spokesperson for Priorities USA Action. “The sad truth is that when you order something from Braun’s own auto parts brand, it could arrive in a box stamped ‘Made in China.’ Braun has barely mentioned Promaxx Automotive on the campaign trail because he doesn’t want Hoosier voters to know that he got rich from foreign labor—which is exactly why Priorities and SMP will be blanketing the state with new ads that make sure voters have the facts about Braun’s record of selling out Hoosier workers.”

“Mike Braun has repeatedly sworn to Hoosier voters that his own products were not manufactured overseas, but now we know that’s a lie,” said Chris Hayden, spokesperson for SMP. “The truth is that Mike Braun has gotten wealthy off his own foreign-made parts; relying on workers overseas instead of American labor. Braun touts his experience as CEO on the campaign trail, but he has obscured the fact that his success comes at the expense of Hoosier workers. SMP and Priorities are committed to making sure that voters across Indiana know that Mike Braun has always put his profits before the well-being of Hoosiers.”
