Priorities USA Action Releases New Digital Ad Highlighting the Second American Victim of the Coronavirus as the Death Toll Climbs to 200,000
On March 1st, Nathan’s father became the second confirmed victim of the coronavirus pandemic in the United States. Since then, families of more than 200,000 people have felt the grief, loss, and pain of losing a loved one to this deadly virus.
In a new digital ad from Priorities USA Action, Nathan blames Donald Trump for his failed leadership and inability to control the virus. Nathan knows that far fewer families would have had to go through the pain of losing a loved one had Donald Trump acted sooner to slow the spread. Donald Trump has admitted, on tape, that he knew how deadly and how easily spread the coronavirus was and he knowingly downplayed its potential for harm.
Donald Trump lied to the American people. Now 200,000 Americans are dead.
“Nathan” will run on digital platforms in key battleground states. Priorities is currently spending over $4.25 million a week on digital and TV advertising to make the case against Donald Trump in battleground states and ensure that Joe Biden is our next president.
“Stories like Nathan’s need to be told. Far too many Americans have lost a loved one during this pandemic because Donald Trump failed to act and safeguard our communities from a deadly virus,” said Guy Cecil, Chairman of Priorities USA. “We know that this crisis — the number of deaths, skyrocketing case counts, and dismal unemployment figures — did not have to be this bad. Nathan’s father deserved better. All Americans deserve better. We’re fighting every day to ensure that Donald Trump’s chaos and destruction is defeated and, next year, Joe Biden is in the White House.”
