Washington, DC — Today, in response to Judge Charles Temple’s denial of a motion to dismiss the ongoing lawsuit against New Hampshire’s discriminatory SB 3 law, Guy Cecil, Chairman of the Priorities USA Foundation, released the following statement:

“We are pleased that Judge Temple has denied this frivolous attempt to dismiss the ongoing lawsuit against SB 3, a law that unfairly and unnecessarily burdens eligible New Hampshire residents who want to register to vote, including in particular college students and people who are new to the state or who have recently moved. Secretary of State Gardner has already been enjoined from implementing part of this law, and as the case proceeds to a full trial this summer the Priorities USA Foundation will continue to track its progress and defend against any new attempts in the state to restrict the right to vote.”
