Priorities USA Action and Senate Majority PAC Launch New Ads Aimed At Turning Out Democrats in Key Battleground States
As part of a previously announced partnership, Priorities USA Action and Senate Majority PAC are continuing a $9.7 million investment in digital advertising targeted at Democrats, with a specific focus on people of color. This investment is intended to drive up turnout among likely Democratic voters in key battleground states.
The program covers a wide set of methods for voters to cast their ballots and aims to increase both voter intent and enthusiasm as ballots are sent out, in person early vote locations open, and November 3rd draws closer.
The ads will run in six states that are key to winning the presidential race and flipping the Senate — Arizona, Maine, Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin — primarily targeting young Black and Latino voters. Examples of the ads can be found here and here.
The ads will run on digital platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, and Hulu through Election Day. In panel tests performed by Priorities, “Just Vote” and “Seize The Momentum” each increased vote likelihood over 3% and increased voter enthusiasm by over 4%.
“We’re not taking a single voter for granted in this election. The stakes are only getting higher every day, and Donald Trump continues to harm Americans through his lies, incompetence, and recklessness,” said Guy Cecil, Chairman of Priorities USA. “Priorities has created a robust, dynamic program that aims to reach every voter where they are and frame this election in terms of issues they care about — and our investments have helped ensure that Joe Biden has a clear path to 270 electoral votes. With Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in the White House, we can heal this nation from Donald Trump’s hate and divisiveness and build our country back better than it was before.”
“Our latest investment will mobilize and empower voters, especially younger Black and Latino voters, who want to make their voices heard in this election,” said J.B. Poersch, President of Senate Majority PAC. “This is another example of Democrats finding creative and innovative ways to connect with voters while giving them the tools they need to vote during the COVID-19 pandemic. While Republicans play defense across the map, we’re using digital platforms like never before to engage with voters in key battleground states that are crucial to flipping the Senate.”
