Priorities USA Action Expands Pennsylvania Ad Buy, Adds $7.3 Million in TV and Digital Spending
Priorities USA Action is announcing a multimillion-dollar spending expansion in Pennsylvania. The buy will include $3.5 million in additional spending on digital advertising and an added investment of $3.8 million in TV advertising in the Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Wilkes-Barre markets.
Priorities has identified Pennsylvania as the current tipping point state most likely to represent the 270th electoral vote and has already invested nearly $20 million in the state since July of 2019. This added investment comes as donors are stepping up and funding Priorities at increased levels well above the 2016 pace.
Priorities USA Action will run “Responsibility” on cable and broadcast TV in Pennsylvania. The ad is an updated version of “Exponential Threat,” which first ran in March and which Donald Trump sued over in an attempt to censor. “Responsibility” reflects the 200,000 American deaths from COVID-19 as a result of Donald Trump’s incompetence and unwillingness to protect our country from the coronavirus.
Priorities USA Action is spending over $9 million per week on TV, digital, and radio advertising in key battleground states to ensure that Joe Biden is elected our 46th president. Priorities has committed over $200 million to defeat Donald Trump and hold him accountable for his failed leadership.
“Pennsylvania is the tipping point state in this election and Priorities is going to do everything we can there to help elect Joe Biden and Kamala Harris,” said Guy Cecil, Chairman of Priorities USA. “We’re investing in a multi-channel media strategy in Pennsylvania in order to meet voters where they are and present them with the facts about Donald Trump’s failed leadership. Donald Trump’s attacks on the Affordable Care Act could leave millions of Pennsylvanians without access to affordable health care, and his failure to confront the coronavirus has left thousands dead and millions without jobs. Joe Biden will always keep his promise to put the American people first. We can trust him to lead us out of this crisis and build a better future.”
