Nevada Priorities Launches Six-Figure Campaign Informing Voters About Adam Laxalt’s Record of Standing with Billionaire Donors, Not Nevada Families
Ad Campaign Will Highlight Laxalt’s History of Corruption and Direct Voters to AdamLaxaltRevealed.com
Washington, DC — Today, Nevada Priorities, a state-based affiliate of Priorities USA Action, announced the launch of a six-figure digital campaign dedicated to ensuring that Nevada voters learn the truth about Attorney General Adam Laxalt’s record of standing up for the interests of his donors and special interest groups over the needs of average Nevadans.
Throughout the campaign, Nevada voters will learn about the commitments he’s already made during his campaign for governor—including his proposal to fund tax cuts for big businesses by slashing funding for education and his opposition to clean air and water policies—as well as his history of going easy on pharmaceutical companies during his tenure as Attorney General.
The campaign will be targeted to voters statewide and will consist of ads run on digital platforms such as Facebook, YouTube and Pandora, along with Google search and website banner ads. Voters will also be directed to AdamLaxaltRevealed.com, where they can learn more about Laxalt’s concerning relationships with donors and special interest groups. “At a time when Donald Trump and congressional Republicans are already bowing to the interests of billionaires and big corporations, Nevadans don’t need a governor who will be just another voice for the very rich,” said Guy Cecil, Chairman of Priorities USA Action. “Adam Laxalt has already shown Nevadans that he’s willing to go easy on pharmaceutical companies, and he’s already promised to eliminate a key tax on large corporations and gut state education funding in the process. Nevadans deserve a governor who will fight for them and their families, not answer to every beck and call of the rich and well-connected.”

Over the course of 2018, Priorities USA Action will spend $50 million on digital ads supporting Democratic candidates in gubernatorial, House, Senate and state legislative races. In 2017, Priorities USA Action supported the successful campaigns of Senator Doug Jones, Governor Ralph Northam and Florida State Senator Annette Taddeo.
