Priorities USA Action Launches New Digital Ads Highlighting Shawn Moody’s Dangerous Plan for Health Care in Maine
Washington, DC – Priorities USA Action is launching a new round of digital ads focused on Shawn Moody’s dangerous plan to block access to health care for the people of Maine. The new ads highlight Moody’s opposition to expanding Medicaid and his support for policies that would strip away critical protections for people who have pre-existing conditions. The ads also highlight that almost half of all Mainers could lose their health care if Moody had his way.
The new ads come as part of Priorities’ previously announced six-figure campaign in Maine. The ads will run on social media platforms that voters frequent, like Facebook. To view examples of the ads, click here and here.
“Shawn Moody is not running for governor because he wants the best for the people of Maine. Time and time again, he has made it clear that he does not care about their wellbeing, especially when it comes to those with pre-existing conditions and in need of health care,” said Patrick McHugh, Executive Director of Priorities USA Action. “Mainers deserve better than someone who is looking to deny them the protections they need to survive. Priorities remains committed to ensuring they know that he does not care about them or their health.”
