Statement from Priorities USA Chairman Guy Cecil on Mark Kelly’s Winning Senate Campaign in Arizona

Priorities USA Chairman Guy Cecil issued the following statement following Mark Kelly’s resounding win in Arizona:

“Mark Kelly’s victory is a win for all Arizonans. Arizona voters have made their voices heard and chose a candidate who will help grow the economy for everyone, protect abortion access and push for effective, humane immigration reform.

“This cycle, Priorities partnered with Senate Majority PAC, Somos Votantes and NARAL to persuade and mobilize Arizonans on online platforms. Priorities specifically targeted critical swing, Latino, Black and young voters who were decisive in delivering this important victory. In total, Priorities invested $16.1 million with partners in online outreach to Arizona voters.

“In addition to direct voter outreach, Priorities won a legal challenge with Arizona Alliance for Retired Americans and Voto Latino to prevent the criminalization of voter registration and mobilization outreach.

“I am incredibly proud of every staff member, volunteer, partner and supporter that made this victory possible. I am grateful that Priorities was able to play such a critical role in engaging and mobilizing Arizonans from all across the state.

“This is a fantastic win for Arizona, the Senate and all Americans who will benefit from Senator Mark Kelly’s strong commitment to working families.”
