Priorities USA Raised Record-Shattering $92 Million in 3rd Quarter

October 01, 2020

Priorities USA raised more than $92.4 million across its three entities during the 3rd quarter of 2020. Fundraising has increased at a rapid pace recently, making September the best fundraising month in the organization’s history, with $59 million in the door. By comparison, Priorities raised about $24.6 million in September 2016 and just under $58 million during the 3rd quarter of that year.

Priorities USA has been the largest outside spender supporting Joe Biden and opposing Donald Trump. In addition, Priorities has led the effort on voting rights litigation.

“Priorities is heading into the final month raising more money than at any point in our history. It’s clear that there is unprecedented enthusiasm behind the effort to elect Joe Biden as the 46th President of the United States,” said Guy Cecil, Chairman of Priorities USA. “The current financial advantage for Democrats is allowing Biden to go on offense and give himself many different options to get to 270 electoral votes while Donald Trump scrambles to play defense. We won’t let up the pressure for one second.”
