OVERVIEW
The Priorities USA fellowship program gives individuals from historically underrepresented backgrounds technical training and hands-on professional experience while connecting fellows with post-Priorities employment opportunities to facilitate long-term career success. The program allows Priorities USA to advance our goal of building a diverse Democratic campaign ecosystem that uses research-based digital ad campaigns to reach voters.
Fellows will choose from one of two training focuses, Targeting and Analytics or Digital Advertising.

FAQ
What is the difference between the two fellowships?
The Digital Advertising Fellowship focuses on developing effective, engaging advertising across digital platforms. Fellows will learn to interpret polling and political research, develop media plans and creative briefs, write scripts and advertising copy, and run ads on social media and other platforms.
The Targeting and Analytics Fellowship focuses on building tools and databases to better communicate with voters and interpret results. Fellows will learn about coding languages, statistical models, and using analytics to construct and deliver thoughtful persuasion and mobilization messaging.
Is a college degree required to participate in the fellowship program?
No! We welcome applicants from all backgrounds including those with a college degree, associate’s degree, or lived experience.
I’ve never worked in Democratic politics before, can I still apply?
Yes! Previous political experience is not required to participate in the fellowship program. The most important thing is that fellows have a passion for progressive causes, a desire to learn, and interest in building a career in Democratic politics.
What have fellows gone on to do after completing the fellowship?
Our fellowship alumni have gone on to work for major digital agencies, campaign committees (DNC, DSCC, DGA, etc), labor unions, advocacy organizations, congressional offices, and campaigns.
How much will fellows be paid? Is this a contract position or are there benefits?
Fellows will be paid $15,000 total ($2,500 per pay period) for the duration of the 3-month program (an annual rate of $60,000). This is a full-time, paid position with full benefits. Benefits include employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance, monthly cell phone stipend, and paid time off.
I don’t have a computer, do I need to purchase one to participate in the fellowship program?
No! All fellows will be provided with a laptop computer to use during the fellowship program.
